I must confess that I paused listening to Afternoon Delight. Looking at your page I saw the Lane Brody video link. So paused to listen/watch it.

Very touching song by a nice lady.

Bennie Sunday, 4 October 2015 07:27
Thanks Jim, Lane is a special lady with a heart for Vietnam Veterans. BTW, her brother is a Vietnam Vet.

Today is a public holiday here for the Aussie Rules Football Grand Final tomorrow. (crazy) Will cost businesses big time, in wage penalty rates for their employees if they trade today.

You can not find another radio station anywhere that has some of the most wonderful vets running it for vets and their families just trying to make people smile and be happy with great music.

I would listen to AFVN thru the headset while driving my slick in the II Corps central highlands of Nam. Made it almost bearable. I love listening to Bennie and Vet radio. Its been years since I could listen to somebody who knows all the right stuff.

Bennie Saturday, 26 September 2015 22:32
Thanks, Vince. It is a real joy for all of us here at VVR to do what we do. Welcome Home!

Still here! Being a Disabled Vietnam Vet I can understand how this station that SFC, (Retired) Bennie Blount, has become the best place to listen to music like we heard it during our tour(s) in Vietnam. We all get it, "It takes one to know one" and Bennie knows us because he is one of us! God bless the Vietnam Vet, welcome Brothers!

Bennie Saturday, 26 September 2015 22:26
Thanks Bill, everyone here at VVR appreciates our Vietnam Veterans and wants to do our best to make "Welcome Home" a reality.

Archie Hickerson Tuesday, 6 October 2015 15:16
