Not a Nam vet, as I was in High School but it did have an influence on my choice to join the Army just as soon as I graduated in 1977. Welcome Home!

I entered Vietnam in Aug. 1966 I was station in I Corps and was at the DaNang air strip in the swamp mud lol for a couple of months. I worked with the 9th Marines for a short time and graves registration and I met a friend in Graves Reg. from my home county Jerry and I did not no each other at that time but 40 years later we meet in a Vietnam group local and we became friends and talk about been together and not knowing each other. We both suffer from AO later I was sent to 1st Log Command and stayed there for the remainder of my time about 12 or 15 miles north of DaNang I am still in touch with 5 or 6 Marines I was with in NAM I suffer from PTSD and AO over my complete body. I would like to add more later thanks for the add Semper-Fi. Sgt. D. Haney.

Glad to hear some Dead music. I remember listening to their very first album in 1968. One of my track mates was from the bay area and his wife sent him recordings of a bay area radio station called KMPX I think and they played that Dead album. They also played a rendition of Season of the Witch by Julie Driscoll and it was excellent !!

Was at Camp Eagle 69-70 with HQ 51 Signal 101st Abn, anyone out there??

Would an announcement by a non profit 503C organization about a play about the Wall be considered a solicitation??

Bennie Saturday, 22 April 2017 19:49
Hi Bob, The best way to announce it would be to use the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page, we can then announce it on air and in the "Upcoming Events" section on this page.

I'm not a vet, just someone interested in history and the Vietnam war era. Stumbled on this station and really love what I'm hearing. Thanks to all the vets for your sacrifice and service!

This looks like an interesting site. I hated a song that used to come on the radio almost very morning just as we were lifting off from Ving Long. It was called, "These Were The Days MY Friend" and I still hate that song. But I love that Elvis Carden guy's name.
